Resource efficiency in occupational safety: a practical account of deploying padoa
👉 SUMMARY
Clear requirements and structured delivery
Measurable value in day-to-day operations
Concrete results for the service
A partnership with structured project support
Infrastructure built to last as a basis for what comes next
In September 2024, the French inter-company occupational health service SIST Ouest Normandie chose padoa to move its operational processes onto an intuitive, dependable and high-performing digital infrastructure.
A year after the deployment, those responsible give a positive verdict: operations run smoothly, the clinical and administrative teams have lasting relief from routine work, and in January 2025 the service achieved the highest certification for process and audit assurance under the applicable French standard (level 3).
Clear requirements and structured delivery: resource efficiency in occupational safety
Data security, system performance and ease of use were central from the outset. Pierrick Martin, the service's managing director, confirms that the project's goals were met in full:
Reliability and performance: it simply works. So well that you could almost say too well. The SMS reminders are extremely effective, and no-shows for occupational health appointments have dropped noticeably.
The implementation did not interrupt day-to-day operations and did not cost the teams any confidence. The platform became part of users' working day quickly.
There is no gap between what was presented to us beforehand and what was ultimately implemented. Nobody here talks about the old application any more — the migration is entirely behind us. The system feels safe to use, and the teams have taken to the platform completely.
Delivery was smooth and placed no extra load on internal resources. Every project commitment was met on time.
Measurable value in day-to-day operations
After twelve months in live use, the value to quality and data management is clear. The platform safeguards continuity of operations, improves data integrity and standardises how things are documented:
Relevant data and indicators are available without delay. What matters is that every department works from the same data, with consistent definitions and valid, central sources.
Concrete results for the service
After twelve months of use, Pierrick Martin's feedback is very positive.
The software has helped safeguard business continuity, improve the reliability of data and bring workflows into line with one another.
If I am looking for a particular figure, I find it without effort. And above all, everyone speaks the same language: we work across departments from the same data and the same valid sources.
The results
Better appointment management:Â the backlog of upcoming occupational health appointments reduced to a residual 12.7%.*
Return-to-work management:Â 848 return-to-work plans actively initiated and supported.*
Quality management:Â level 3 certification for process and audit assurance achieved in January 2025.

A partnership with structured project support
Bringing in a new infrastructure calls for dependable support at every phase of the project. padoa's approach rests on continuous, collaborative dialogue and on developing the platform in an agile way.
This is a major project, but we were closely supported at every stage. What matters most is that the platform keeps developing: communication about system updates and new features is transparent and forward-looking. That is real continuity, not just technical support after the sale.
Infrastructure built to last as a basis for what comes next
The verdict: the service has gained resource efficiency in occupational safety. It is using that new stability to pursue further strategic and operational goals:
Stronger interdisciplinary working:Â closer collaboration between occupational health and safety engineering (comparable to the requirements of DGUV Regulation 2 in Germany).
Faster risk assessments:Â quicker updates to site documentation and on-site inspections using the mobile field app.
A high standard of quality:Â a documented satisfaction rate of 93% among member companies and 99% among the monitored employees (based on a survey of 9,000 employees).
Our teams identify strongly with their work. We have managed to build a real culture of service and quality.
